Total Dead: Over 35,000 as a result of military conflict.

That’s likely a gross underestimate. According to a study publish in The Lancet, a British medical journal, the first 18 months of the war led to 98,000 excess Iraqi deaths. That includes civilian and military deaths. In addition to violent deaths it includes deaths caused by the destruction of infrastructure. Since it’s been another 18 months or so since the study concluded, I would guess that 150,000 Iraqis have died as a result of this war.
